Living Experience – Electronic City vs Whitefield
Having lived for several years in Whitefield, my husband and I finally made the big move after looking at so many apartments in bangalore. I was pretty sure that I would resist the move. However, I was in for a surprise and I wished that I had taken the plunge earlier.
Coming home from work on the elevated expressway felt like a
breeze. No longer was I the flustered woman who was forever tired of the
never-ending Bangalore traffic but a much happier person. My mood levels have
considerably improved and I have more energy than usual. I was no longer
dreading the traffic on Varthur Road. Thanks to the Bangalore Metropolitan
Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses, Electronic City enjoys connectivity to most
of the city. The area is connected to wide roadways like Bannerghatta Road and
NICE Road, as well as an expressway with six lanes, further increasing its
accessibility. This has allowed us to visit or have our friends and
relatives over more often.
The proximity and wide array to choose from extremely well-known
schools such as Feather Touch, Klay Pre School, Treamis World School, Delhi
Public School and others have assured me that my children would have access to
the best possible educational facilities. The constant pestering from my
children to take them out has become easier, thanks to Play Factory and
Rhythmic Feet. Also, Electronic city is also all set to get its first
integrated mall namely M5-ECITY.
Further, the average
capital value has shot up within a year of us purchasing our flats
in bangalore. This has given us immense satisfaction of making a
good, prudent investment for our future. Undoubtedly, both electronic city and
Whitefield have tremendous rental potential, all thanks to the booming IT
sector. Comparison of the growth potential of both areas shows a clear growth
in terms of Electronic City.
Apart from all these
factors, what made our move easier was investing in the right builder. We chose
Mahendra Homes. Right from procuring the loan to the delivery of the flat, the
entire process was made to feel like it is nothing. The entire place is filled
with greenery and nowhere do we feel that we are living in an apartment. This
way, we got to enjoy the benefits of having the comforts of living in a
well-developed area yet close to nature. Also, my son Rahul gets to play his
favourite sports right inside the premises without having to go and play on the
roads thus saving me from worry. Further, by 2022 the area will be a part of
the Namma Metro Line 3, improving connectivity to prominent parts of Phase-I
and Phase-II of Electronic City, Huskur Road and Hebbagodi. apartments
in electronic city have seen an increase in the rates on
account of this factor.
With the gym and meditation court right inside the community, I and my husband have run out of excuses to not exercise. Overall, this is the best decision that we have made.
